Program Overview

Home Health Aides (HHAs) provide essential personal care and daily living support to patients in homes, rehabilitation centers, and long-term care facilities. With the aging U.S. population and increasing demand for home-based services, becoming an HHA offers a stable and rewarding healthcare career pathway.

HHA roles are similar to Korea’s caregiving positions, with a focus on patient comfort, safety, and dignity in daily living.


Tuition

  • Tuition: $1,000
  • Registration Fee: $50 (non-refundable, separate)
  • Tuition includes: online coursework, lab supplies, liability insurance, and clinical practice
  • Students must purchase navy scrubs separately for lab training
  • AHA BLS (CPR) certification is required before graduation (not included). DMS students receive a discounted rate of $65

Program Duration

  • 2–3 weeks (75 hours total)
  • 60 hours online theory
  • 15 hours in-person lab practice (2 days)

Admission Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older (under 18 requires parent/guardian signature)
  • Valid state-issued ID, passport, green card, or driver’s license
  • Navy scrubs and closed-toe shoes required for lab sessions
