Phlebotomy Technician Certificate Course (NHA CPT)

Phlebotomy technicians are critical team members in hospitals, diagnostic laboratories, and blood donor centers. As new testing technologies emerge and healthcare expands, now is a great time to start your career in this high-demand field.

  • Tuition includes textbook, online access, supplies, and clinical lab practice
  • Students are responsible for purchasing their own navy-colored scrubs
  • CPR certification (AHA BLS: $65) is not included and must be completed separately

  • Payment plans available (split into two or three payments)
  • No federal financial aid (non-Title IV school)

Course Duration: 12 weeks (online coursework + in-person lab)

Hands-on Practice: Students must complete 40 successful blood draws using mannequins and live volunteers (classmates).

Requirements

  • Must be 17 years or older
  • Valid ID (State-issued, Passport, Green Card, or Driver’s License)
  • High School Diploma or GED (or graduating within 12 months)
  • No immunizations required
  • Lavender scrubs and closed-toe, closed-heel shoes are required
  • CPR (AHA BLS) Certificate required before course completion

Skill Lab Schedule

Students will practice on mannequins until they complete 40 successful blood draws. Once complete, and after being covered by student malpractice insurance (provided at no cost), they may begin drawing on classmates under instructor supervision.

*Phlebotomy Skill Lab: Friday 12:00 PM – 2:30 PM
